This highly successful and oversubscribed Roman Catholic school for boys, with a mixed Sixth Form, was graded outstanding in its most recent Ofsted report and has a long track-record of high performance in public examinations: in 2013, 92% of pupils attained 5 or more grades at A* - C including Mathematics and English; 63% of all GCSE and A-Level grades were A* or A.

The Governors of the Vaughan (roll 955; mixed Sixth Form of 340), in the trusteeship of the Diocese of Westminster, require for September 2014, a Teacher of Science (Chemistry).

The candidate we are seeking will be well equipped to teach across the age and ability range to A-Level Chemistry.The Department, in recent years, has successfully expanded the number of pupils studying Chemistry at A-Level.
