The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) will conduct a clinical symposium on Fat, Fillers and Facts in Facial Rejuvenation, January 23-25, at The Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Symposium chaired by James C. Grotting, MD will explore all aspects of facial rejuvenation including; aging concepts, anatomy, aesthetic evaluation, surgical options, fat grafting, fillers, and complications.

This meeting is the most concentrated examination of all aspects of facial rejuvenation that The Aesthetic Society has ever produced, said James C. Grotting, MD, Chair of the Aesthetic Symposium. We will explore every detail of various face-lifting methods as well as the many new things which can now be offered in the area of non-surgical rejuvenation. Attendees, who are limited to board certified plastic surgeons and facial plastic surgeons, will have full access to faculty and many controversial questions will be asked seeking fact over opinion.

The Faculty is comprised of Key Opinion Leaders in the area of Facial Aesthetics and Cosmetic Surgery. It features: Chair: James C. Grotting, MD Birmingham, AL Vice Chair: Jeffrey M. Kenkel, MD Dallas, TX

Sherrell J. Aston, MD New York, NY Fritz E. Barton, Jr., MD Dallas, TX Fahd Benslimane, MD Casablanca, Morocco Sydney Coleman, MD New York, NY Barry DiBernardo, MD Montclair, NJ Jack Fisher, MD Nashville, TN Bahman Guyuron, MD Cleveland, OH Glenn Jelks, MD New York, NY Val Lambros, MD Laguna Beach, CA J. William Little, MD Washington DC Michael Longaker, MD Stanford, CA Timothy J. Marten, MD San Francisco, CA Foad Nahai, MD Atlanta, GA Mario Pelle-Ceravolo, MD Rome, Italy Patrick K. Sullivan, MD Providence, RI Richard J. Warren, MD Vancouver BC, Canada

The latest facial rejuvenation techniques concentrate on restoring a youthful facial shape by repositioning fat, muscle, and skin and restoring lost volume by using a patients own fat, said Jack Fisher, MD, Aesthetic Society president. Plastic surgeons are very eager to learn these new techniques from experts. Las Vegas is a perfect meeting place for what may be viewed as a consensus conference on the use of fat and fillers along with face-lifting techniques.
