'Grey's Anatomy' Season 14: Ellen Pompeo Reunites With Fan Favorite Alum – People's Choice

In case you missed it or have been too busy soaking up the last days of summer the Greys Anatomy cast is back at work, and there are great pictures to prove it.

With filming for season 14 officially underway, the stars that make up the doctors on Greys Anatomy have been been sharing tons of selfies from the set. Who knew TV doctors had so much time to take pictures?

One of the most recent photos from the set features the one and onlyEllen Pompeo aka Dr. Meredith Grey. Who is Dr. Grey buddying up to these days, you ask? None other than Greys alum and now returning surgeon Dr. Teddy Altman (played by Kim Raver).

Grey & Altman reunited! Raver captioned the close-up photo, which shows the two fierce doctors in their scrubs and smiling from ear-to-ear.

This selfie is the second photo Raver posted from set on Thursday (Aug. 17), and its also the second picture shes ever posted on Instagram. Yes, in honor of the new season of Greys or at least thats what we like to think Raver has gotten an Instagram account, and shes all about sharing photos with her fellow castmates on the ABC drama.

Her first Instagram snap was also from inside the OR, and it features two actors who joined the series in its later seasons. The sweet welcome to Instagram style post showed Raver hanging out with Jesse Williams (Dr. Avery Jackson) and Camilla Luddington (Dr. Jo Wilson). While Williams and Raver started on the show around the same time in 2009, the actress decided to end her run in 2012 (which also happens to be the same year Luddington signed on forGreys). Ravers return for season 14 was first reported by Deadline back in June. While Raver was a series regular before,Deadlinereports that this time around, shell be a guest star.

Heres hoping Ravers newfound love of Instagram will lead to even more behind-the-scenes photos of the Greys Anatomy family!

Greys Anatomy will return on September 28, 2017 with a two-hour premiere at 8 p.m. on ABC.
