Pharmacy Robbed By Suspect Demanding Oxycodone

Columbus police detectives are looking for help identifying the man who they said robbed a pharmacy early Sunday morning.

According to Columbus police, a man entered the CVS Pharmacy located at 7470 Sawmill Rd. in Columbus at about 2:25 a.m.

The man approached the pharmacy counter and implied a weapon, police said.

The man then displayed a demand note asking for all of the Oxycodone in the store, according to police. The pharmacist complied and, police said, he gave an unspecified amount of pills to the suspect.

The suspect left the scene on foot.

Police described the suspect as a white male in his early to mid-20s. He stands between 6 feet 1 inch and 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs between 180 and 200 pounds.

He had a beard and was wearing a white zip-up hooded sweatshirt and a green hat.

Anyone with information about this suspect is asked to call Columbus police at 614-645-4665 or leave an anymous top with Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS.
