EL CAJON Police are asking for the publics help to locate a man who broke into an El Cajon pharmacy and stole drugs.

The thief burglarized the Kaiser Permanente Pharmacy on Travelodge Drive on August 18, El Cajon police said.

He smashed a window in an office building at the facility and then broke another window to get into the locked pharmacy before jumping the counter and taking an unknown quantity of Oxycodone, police said.

The thief, who was caught on surveillance video, was described as white and in his mid 50s, about 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. He was wearing a black polo shirt, tan knee-length cargo shorts, white tennis shoes and a blue baseball cap with an unknown logo, police said. He also had on glasses and wore latex gloves.

The man may be responsible for other Kaiser burglaries, police said. Additional pictures of the burglar can be found here.
