South College Pharmacy Student Takes Family Business to Third Generation
Jessica Thompson knows The Corner Drug Store. The store has been operating in Lake City for the past 80 years, and she has practically grown up there. Thompson #39;s grandfather, Carl Dew, bought the pharmacy in the 1940s when he returned from military service and was the pharmacist there until 1992. Her father, David Dew, who is also a pharmacist, worked there with his father and now owns the business. Soon it will be Thompson #39;s turn to carry on the family tradition. She is one of 71 students in the South College School of Pharmacy now finishing the first year toward her doctorate in pharmacy degree who was honored recently in a traditional white coat ceremony. From:Moxley CarmichaelViews:0 0ratingsTime:02:25More inEducation
