On Wednesday evening, March 14, the New England Area of Autism Speaks will host the first ever Autism Science Panel Lecture at the Rabb Lecture Hall in the Boston Public Library. This event is free and open to the public and will give parents and caretakers direct access to some of the brightest minds in autism research and treatment.
The Lecture will include scientists in the fields of genetics, treatment, translational research, and alternative interventions. One in 110 children (one in 70 boys) are annually diagnosed with autism. As science continues to make great strides in autism research and development, parents are often left to navigate this disorder largely on there own.
