BARBER STORY . . . My column about Barber Dave a couple of weeks ago generated the following e-message from a Proud Mother: I read your article in the Elk Grove Citizen regarding the generosity of your favorite Barber. Well, I would like to mention the generosity of my hair stylist/barber Greg Shilin.

He is owner of Expressions Salon in Elk Grove. Greg has been cutting hair for over 20 years. He not only goes to his clients homes, but hospitals, senior citizen residential care homes,he goeswhereever it is necessary to place a smile onthe face of his client. He attendsbasketball, soccer, football and baseball games to show his support. He volunteers to attend career day for his clientsstudents. He goes way above and beyond the usual. He enjoys what he does so much that everyone he meets becomes his family.

I hope you mention Greg inone of your articles. It is nice to read positive things and people in todays world but Greg is special and I wouldlike to enrich others lives by meeting and knowing Greg. Thank You Toni Germany.

Right On Greg!
