San Diego Regenerative Medicine Company, Vet-Stem, Inc. Founder, Robert Harman, DVM, has been cordially invited to be the inspirational speaker for the 6th Annual Charity Dinner of After the Finish Line, a 501(c)3 funding nonprofit for rescued Thoroughbred ex-racehorses. A Tribute to the Majesty of Thoroughbreds will be held at the Hilton Hotel, Del Mar, on August 1st 2013 and features Dan Cohen of KFMB-Channel 8 Morning News as the Master of Ceremonies and Robert Vavra, premier Equine photographer, as Special Guest Speaker.
The event includes a reception, silent and live auction, and dinner, with donations going to benefit the rescue, rehabilitation, and retraining of Thoroughbred horses that are transitioning off the track into a second career. The fundraiser, After the Finish Lines biggest and most important fundraiser of the year, is held during the Del Mar race meet to raise awareness for the ex-racehorses.
Vet-Stem, Inc. has partnered with After the Finish Line to provide stem cell therapy to rehabilitating ex-racehorses, encouraging recovery, and helping to increase the likelihood of adoption and successful retraining. Dr. Bob Harman has rescued several ex-racehorses and Thoroughbreds since his founding of Vet-Stem, Inc. and has successfully treated injury with stem cell therapy, retrained, and re-homed them into a second professional career. Dr. Harman is very passionate about the care of his and others animals and believes they deserve the best care possible.
