SCI Business Solutions Inc., the exclusive operator and franchisor of Project Walk Spinal Cord Injury Recovery Center is excited to partner with Redcord USA, the industry leader in Neuromuscular training and rehabilitation.

Through this strategic partnership, clients of Project Walk franchises will have access to a unique treatment method for musculoskeletal ailments called Neurac (NEUromuscular ACtivation), which consists of specially tailored exercises and techniques in Redcord ropes and slings, aiming to restore functional and pain free movement patterns through a high level of neuromuscular stimulation. The Neurac method applies high effort without the need for high mechanical load, using key biomechanical principles to optimally enhance muscle activation and function. Key principles to the Neurac Method include, closed kinetic chain (body-weight-bearing exercise), unsteadiness, movements in multiple planes, precise progressions and pain free movements.

While all Project Walk franchise locations will have access to Redcord equipment, this exclusive partnership will also bring an industry first with the addition of mini-clinics under the name Activcore. Activcore mini-clinics will give Project Walk clients access to a physical therapist specially trained in the Neurac Method; a first for rehabilitation facilities of this kind. Activcore is a new venture for Neuromax, LLC., the parent company of Redcord USA.

We are excited to be a fixture within Project Walk franchise locations, says Redcord USA CEO, Michael Leonardi. The addition of our mini-clinics will bring a unique and specific skillset to neuro populations.

Project Walk is based on The Dardzinski Method and maintains its reputation as the world leader in spinal cord injury recovery by setting itself apart through activity-based programs in conjunction with using state-of-the-art equipment, research and methodology development. This exclusive partnership allows Project Walk to tap into Redcords existing research with neuromuscular re-education techniques while providing new opportunities to further new methods, says Brian Malkinson, Director of Operations for SCI Business Solutions Inc. Malkinson adds, the opportunity to learn and grow from one another is obviously exciting.

Pending FDA approval, Redcord also anxiously awaits the release of the Redcord Stimula, a new and effective tool to apply vibration technology through the ropes of the Redcord equipment. Vibration technology has proven results with the activation of muscles, muscle strength, reduced pain associated with injury and increased flexibility. Redcord believes the Stimula will be available to Project Walk clients sometime in 2014.

Project Walk, the world leader in spinal cord injury recovery, looks forward to the improved quality of care that Redcord will bring to its locations and the clients that venture to Project Walk from all over the world. As part of Project Walks continued commitment to bring state-of-the-art technology to its clients, Redcords partnership provides the latest equipment with over 20 years of experience in suspension technology.
