Another natural disaster is about to wreak havoc on Greys Anatomy season 11, episode 15. Do you remember the other travesties the doctors have faced over the years?

Residents of Seattle are probably wondering how so many disasters can happen to one city in 11 years. This week, Greys Anatomy season 11, episode 15 adds another natural disaster to the list when an earthquake literally shakes things up at Grey Sloan Memorial.

An earthquake may only last for five minutes, but the aftershock and damage caused during that time span is the where the real threat is. The results following the earthquake are nothing the doctors havent seen before. When it comes to dealing with circumstances beyond their control, there is no hospital team better equipped than the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial.

Here are just a few of the times over the last 11 years where the doctors were put to the test by mother nature and catastrophic events.

The first large scale disaster to hit the Seattle area occurred mid-season 3 when a commuter ferry was struck by a barge. With hundreds of victims in need of medical attention, the incident prepared the doctors to talk others through surgeries, work through on-site triage, and focus on saving the life of one of their own in an abyss of destruction.

Sometimes patient care requires a followup appointment, but those only occur when the patient is alive. A grieving husband takes out anyone who crosses his path in the hospital in order to ensure that Derek Shepherd dies. As the doctors got their patients to safety, they turned their focus to the next task at hand, protecting their own. On a scale of one to terrifying, the lockdown ranks almost par with having your hand on a bomb, but at least the threat to their lives was isolated in that situation.
