GROWING FAMILY? Perhaps six is not enough for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

Angelina Jolie is reportedly considering IVF treatment to have more children.

The 38-year-old actress and her husband Brad Pitt already raise six children together. Following her double mastectomy last year after discovering she was genetically predisposed to breast and ovarian cancer, Angelina is thought to be thinking about having her ovaries removed as an extra precaution.

However, this would mean she would be unable to fall pregnant, which has apparently left the brunette beauty considering other means of having kids.

"Brad assured Angelina that their family is more than enough and he'll support her no matter what. IVF is always an option if she wanted to have another child, and she could freeze her eggs," a source told British magazine Closer.

"Brad and Angelina don't want the children to be scared. They want them to be aware of what's happening. They discussed it sensitively and the kids gave Angelina the boost she needed.

"She knows if she has the surgery it's going to be tough, but being around for her children long-term makes it worthwhile."

Three of the couple's children - Maddox, Pax and Zahara - are adopted and they are biological parents to Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne. After losing her mother Marcheline Bertrand to ovarian cancer in 2007, Angelina is said to be desperate to avoid the same happening to her family.

"Six children is a lot to cope with, but they both love having babies and toddlers in the house again and would consider adopting again," the source added.

"Angelina and Brad adore their huge family and have always said they'd love more children. But the whole reason she underwent the double mastectomy was for the sake of her children. She was devastated to lose her mother and couldn't bear her children going through the same heartache."
