There are three main medications for Bioidentical Hormone Therapy:

Injectable Bioidentical Hormonesis used to increase and optimize hormone levels. The dosage varies and is determined by the prescribing physician. Patients' medical history, lab results, and physical are all factored in during diagnosis.

HCGthatis used to prevent testicular shrinkage and maintain natural production of male hormone within the testes.

Anastrozole is used to control the levels of female hormone which is oestrogen within the body. Yes, men have the female hormone as well, and some men have high levels naturally. Other men may see an increase in the female hormone after being placed on the program. Elevated levels can cause unwanted belly fat, breast fat, mood swings and loss of libido. This hormone has a tendency to work against the male hormone.
