Biology lesson for Rotary Club

Hendersons Rotary Club got a biology lesson during Thursdays regular meeting. Deborah Jackson, clinical nurse specialist in oncology and genomics and thought leader liaison for California-based Genetech Inc., spoke about cancer and the role genetics play in its development.

Jackson and her husband, Rotary member Sean Jackson, are natives of Waco and she got her bachelors degree at the University of Texas and her masters degree in genetics counseling from the University of California at San Francisco.
