SOMERVILLE A Bronx, N.Y., man is accused of peddling hundreds of erectile dysfunction pills near the Somerville train station Monday morning, according to authorities.

Foday Sillah, 36, allegedly sold 680 Viagra pills and 520 Cialis pills to an undercover county detective after arranging to meet at the train station around 11:40 a.m., Somerset County Prosecutor Geoffrey Soriano said in a release. County detectives had set up the meeting as part of an investigation into illegal sales of the drugs in the Somerville area, court documents state.

Once the drugs were sold, investigators moved in on Sillah and arrested him at the station, on South Bridge Street, Soriano said. The pills have an estimated street value of $18,000, Soriano said.

Sillah was charged with two counts of second-degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance. He remained in the Somerset County jail today in lieu of $75,000 bail.

Other details were not immediately available.
