Erlanger names Campbell as cardiology chief

Charles Campbell has been appointed chief of cardiology for UT Erlanger Cardiology.

Dr. Campbell comes to Erlanger from Lexington, Ky., were he served as associate professor of medicine, director of cardiovascular disease fellowship program, co-program director of clinical scholar-in-training in cardiovascular science program and director of in-patient services, division of cardiovascular medicine at the University of Kentucky.

Board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine, Dr. Campbell earned his medical degree from Michigan State University, completed his internship and residency at Keesler Medical Center Air Force Base and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base. He specializes in cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography, cardiovascular critical care and heart failure.

Prior to his positions at University of Kentucky, Dr. Campbell worked as a critical care air transport leader in Germany and Iraq and as a staff cardiologist at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He has been a member and organizer of several committees and professional societies in cardiovascular medicine and participated as a speaker in numerous cardiology conferences and as an editor and peer reviewer for national cardiology publications.

Pratt Home Builders announced Kelly Hill has been named director of production. Hill will be the conduit for information transfer between the sales and design process to the field construction team and responsible for new home starts. She has been with Pratt Homes since 2007 serving in roles such as interior designer, estimator and production coordinator. Her multifaceted experience has prepared her for this role which requires extensive knowledge of home construction, estimating, Autocad design and purchasing systems.

Two outside sales professionals from FastSigns of Chattanooga were recognized with outstanding sales achievement awards at the 2014 FastSigns Outside Sales Summit held in Frisco, Texas.

David Murphy received the Platinum Sales Award, which recognizes those who achieved sales of $900,000 or more in a year. With more than 550 FastSigns centers worldwide, only 10 Outside Sales Professionals received this award.

Reis Costa received the Bronze Sales Award, which recognizes those who achieved sales between $200,000 and $399,000 in a year.
