Last February, more than 800 pediatric cardiologists, intensivists, surgeons, nurses, and others involved in the care of patients with pediatric and congenital cardiovascular disease descended on Scottsdale, AZ for the 18th Annual Update on Pediatric and Congenital Cardiovascular Disease.

Throughout the conferences various presentations and panel discussions, attendees were encouraged to actively participate in the conversation with Q&A sessions.

Lex Perri, MSN, RN, NE-BC, director of Cardiac Center Nursing at The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and Cardiology 2015 faculty member, listens intently in one of the many nursing sessions offered to attendees.

Elizabeth Goldmuntz, MD, attending cardiologist at CHOP, presents on how practitioners can incorporate the genetics revolution into framework of care for congenital heart disease.

Yoav Dori, MD, presents on advances in evaluating, mapping and treatment strategies of the lymphatic system in patients with single ventricle.

William Mahle, MD, of Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta presents on screening and assessment for neurodevelopment disorders in CHD.
