Dallas plastic surgeon William P. Adams, Jr., MD, is the new President of the Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation (ASERF). The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). New York, NY (PRWEB) April 14, 2013 Dr. Adams is in private practice and is an Associate Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He chairs the ASERF Innovative Procedures committee that puts on the popular Hot Topics Course at the Annual ASAPS meeting. Dr. Adams personal research focus has been on breast implant aging and development, capsular contracture and improving patient outcomes in breast surgery, and he has published numerous papers and book chapters on advances in breast implants and breast augmentation techniques as well as presented multiple plastic surgery lectures. He has developed and put on breast surgery live surgical preceptorships and Master classes at the national and international level. He has recently published a new Breast Augmentation textbook and surgical atlas to further educate surgeons, and co-edited a 2 volume rhinoplasty textbook, Dallas Rhinoplasty, which serves as one of the classic rhinoplasty texts available.
