In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Shonda Rhimes -- the creator of "Grey's Anatomy" and "Scandal" -- commented on how "Scandal" production runs smoothly and the cast is tight knit by saying, "There are no Heigls in this situation." Ouch. Rhimes later added this about her "no a------s policy: "I don't put up with b------- or nasty people. I don't have time for it." Heigl famously dissed "Grey's Anatomy" in 2007 when she withdrew her name from Emmy consideration because she hadn't been given the material "to warrant an Emmy nomination." She eventually departed "Grey's" in 2010 and is now appearing on the upcoming NBC series, "State of Affairs." The lack of closure between Owen and Cristina will come to a head during Thursdays episode of Greys Anatomy. Ever since Cristina (Sandra Oh) left Grey Sloan Memorial in last yearsseason finale, Owen (Kevin McKidd) has thrown himself into work in a bid to distract himself from the pain of her absence. Every single minute of the day hes struggling, but hes putting a face on to the world, McKidd tells EW from the set of the ABC medical drama. But Owen will no longer be able to live in denial whena case with Callie (Sara Ramirez) brings out an influx of emotions. His buttons get pushed and hes triggered a little bit, McKidd says. The floodgates open and you find out where hes at. He is doing that Owen thing by taking the energy and loss hes feeling by Cristina being gone and hes trying to use the power of his emotions to try and do some good, but it backfires a little bit. KATHERINE Heigl inspired 'Grey's Anatomy' creator Shonda Rhimes to develop a "no a**holes" policy. The TV producer admits she learned a lot from working with the 35-year-old actress - who was branded difficult and accused of being a diva on other sets earlier this year - on the drama, and has no time for "nasty people" anymore. Discussing the tight-knit cast on her other show 'Scandal' and her "no a**holes" policy, Shonda told The Hollywood Reporter: "There are no Heigls in this situation..." She added: "I don't put up with b*****t or nasty people. I don't have time for it." The duo's friendship soured in 2008 after the blonde beauty, who played Dr. Izzie Stevens on the show for five years until 2010, withdrew her name from awards consideration because she felt she hadn't been provided the material "to warrant an Emmy nomination."
