The drama is about to come crashing down on Season 11 of Greys Anatomy literally. According to reports, fans of the hit ABC series should brace themselves for yet another devastating event on Greys. Curious what dangers the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital must face this time? Well, its an incident that some of our favorite surgeons already have experienced firsthand: a plane crash. Thats right, Entertainment Weekly revealed that another aircraft crash will occur on Greys Anatomy, but this one will take place near the Seattle hospital. After news breaks of the collision, all medical personal will hightail it to the ER at least most of Grey Sloans surgeons will. As Greys fans well remember, Season 8 concluded with one of the most memorable episodes to date as six doctors from the former Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital were victims of an aviation accident. Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Cristina (Sandra Oh), Derek (Patrick Dempsey), Arizona (Jessica Capshaw), Lexie (Chyler Leigh) and Mark (Eric Dance) were the doctors aboard the plane that crashed into the woods. Over the years, Grey's Anatomy (Seven, 10pm) has strayed a little from its original mission statement of educating and informing audiences on the finer details of human biology, and turned into some weird story about a bunch of doctors talking to each other about their sex lives. And even that is mainly just a framework to hang Dr Meredith Grey's wistful voiceovers on. Occasionally, the doctors practise medicine and they seem to need quite a lot of practice but even then their patients mainly exist as means to the medicos learning valuable lessons. Which Meredith will then do a voiceover about. This week there are enormous lessons to be learnt from a young woman who fainted as her boyfriend proposed to her. Or did she? No she didn't. We find out early on that she's faking it, and the reason will vaguely interest you. It's a godsend for Callie, who has been moping about her love life and desperately needs a patient who can help her generate some deep insights about human relationships.
