Focusing solely on mortality, a new meta-analysis in a broad range of patients with coronary artery disease shows that PCI is associated with an increased risk of death when compared with CABG surgery. Healthgrades on Tuesday released its 2021 analysis of the top hospitals in the United States, which evaluated the performance of almost 4,500 hospitals and assessed clinical outcomes for 34 procedures and conditions across 16 specialty areas.
