STEM CELLS FOR MACULAR DEGENERATION Sam Smith's story.wmv stemcell.md Meet Sam, a visual artist who was confronted with the one thing a man in his profession fears most: Compromised vision. In his case his ability to see clearly was being undermined by age-related macular degeneration (AMD.) As conventional medicine could offer little hope of significantly turning his condition around, Sam sought out pioneering physician and stem cell medicine expert, Dr. David Steenblock. In this video Dr. Steenblock explains how he harvests and uses a patient's own stem cell-rich bone marrow to help effect healing. Sam is then shown having an IV drip infusion of his own bone marrow. The segment picks up six weeks later with Sam discussing how he could discern improvements in his vision within the first ten days following his treatment. Specifically, the vision in his left eye had improved while that in his right eye was now normal.From:btancredi1Views:308 0ratingsTime:02:17More inScience Technology See more here: STEM CELLS FOR MACULAR DEGENERATION Sam Smith's story.wmv - Video … Continue reading

Stem Cell Update from Panama 3 Years Later – Video

Posted: Published on November 1st, 2012

Stem Cell Update from Panama 3 Years Later I had my first stem cell treatment for Multiple Sclerosis in November 2008. After much research and education, I decided to leave the US and go to Cell Medicine in Costa Rica at the time. 3 years later the clinic has grown and consolidated their lab and facilities to Panama City. The treatment wasn't a cure, but it worked amazingly well for me and gave me a second chance at life. My MS is progressive and I will continue to turn to stem cells for ongoing treatment of my disease. Hopefully one day very soon with continuing discussions with Gov. Rick Perry and others, we will see stem cell treatments more widely available in the United States. iLoveMyNewStemCells! From:Holly HuberViews:1636 12ratingsTime:05:28More inPeople Blogs Go here to read the rest: Stem Cell Update from Panama 3 Years Later - Video … Continue reading
