Posted: Published on December 6th, 2012
The US Drug Watchdog says, Most women have never heard about possible severe side effects related to the use of Yaz, Yasmin, or the generic version Ocella birth control pills. We also fear a very poorly publicized settlement might be near for users, who suffered a heart attack, a stroke, or a pulmonary embolism, blood clots, so we are urging victims to call the Johnson Law Group directly-before time runs out to get identified by the court." As a background, in September of 2009, the US FDA released a warning letter sent to Bayer Pharmaceuticals over Yaz & Yasmin. The letter indicates that the drug maker hid out-of-specification test results for key ingredients in the birth control pills. The US Drug Watchdog says, "If you, or a friend were using birth control pills called Yaz, Yasmin, or their generic version Ocella, and severe side effects have occurred, such a pulmonary embolism, a heart attack, a stroke, or other severe medical conditions please contact the Johnson Law Group at 1-800-996-9900." http://www.johnsonlawgroup.com/ (PRWEB) December 06, 2012 Possible Side Effects Yaz/Yasmin The US Drug Watchdog says, "One of the biggest problems we have with respect to our drug initiative work, is the average … Continue reading

Posted: Published on December 5th, 2012
By terminating prostate enlargement naturally, Dr. Allens Device for Prostate Care addresses burning questions men face when prescribed prostate surgery or BPH medications for life, namely how to avoid their severe side effects as the only way is to stop taking them and decline prostate removal procedures in favour of Thermobalancing therapy, states Fine Treatment. London, UK (PRWEB) December 02, 2012 Concerns over health problems after conventional prostate enlargement treatments are frequently raised in the press. For instance, the article titled Prostate pills can have lasting side effects, of 26 November 2012 in The Clarion-Ledger, discusses a relevant case: Question: "I have been taking Avodart for several years for an enlarged prostate. For the past year and a half, I have been suffering from depression. I also have some sexual side effects, in particular low semen volume and lack of sensation during an orgasm. Is all this related to my medication?" Answer: "Dutasteride (Avodart) and finasteride (Proscar) are prescribed for symptoms of enlarged prostate. New research suggests that finasteride is linked to depression, even at the lower dose. The depression may last after the drug is discontinued, reveals the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, September 2012." Prostate removal procedures and surgeries … Continue reading

Data Based Medicine Americas Ltd. Announces a New Online Tool to Show Possible Links Between Prescription Drugs and Sex
Posted: Published on December 3rd, 2012
Can your meds afffect your sex life? New online tool now available to show possible links between prescription drugs and our sex lives. Toronto, Canada (PRWEB) December 03, 2012 Links with antidepressants and ones sex life are well established, says Dr. David Healy, a world-renowned psychiatrist who has written extensively about the lack of data in evidence-based medicine, including in his latest book, Pharmageddon. In fact, many prescription drugs can affect all aspects of how we function sexually, including our orientation and sexual preferences." When the antidepressants were introduced first, Kuhn (a Swiss Psychiatrist) and Kramer (an American Psychiatrist) celebrated a restoration to normality when they claimed that in some cases, homosexuals on antidepressants were changing their sexual orientation to heterosexuality. But if a drug can push us towards heterosexuality, then can it not also push us the other way that is, towards homosexuality? Healy says there is a wide range of potential prescription drug side effects on our sex lives and relationships. Some of the effects may be as subtle as a drug changing a mans smell or his lovers sense of smell so that she no longer finds him desirable. The Sex & Relationships Zone allows users to … Continue reading

Medication warning after court case

Parkinson's patients have been urged not to stop taking their medication after it emerged that a French man won a six figure payout over a drug that turned him into a gay sex and gambling addict. GlaxoSmithKline paid 159,000 pounds to a Parkinson's patient who said the drug Requip turned him into a gay sex and gambling addict Charity Parkinson's UK said that the case of Didier Jambart, who said he suffered side effects after taking the drug Requip in 2003, highlights that impulsive and compulsive behaviour is a side effect of some Parkinson's medications. But the charity warned that patients taking the drug should not stop taking medication if they are worried. Parkinson's UK chief executive Steve Ford: "These drugs can make a huge difference to the lives of many people with Parkinson's and it's important that people aren't scared of taking them. "We certainly wouldn't want anyone to stop taking their medication out of fear that they too may be at risk. We would encourage anyone who is concerned to find out more about what the potential warning signs - such as changes in behaviour or mood - to come to us to find out more." On Wednesday, … Continue reading

Posted: Published on November 29th, 2012
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) November 29, 2012 German drug maker Boehringer Ingelheim announced this month that they are now working to develop an antidote that will slow internal bleeding in emergency situations.* The announcement comes as the latest report from the Judicial Panel on MultiDistrict Litigation on November 14, 2012 shows the number of Pradaxa internal bleeding cases has increased 50% since September 5th.* According to USA Today on August 19, 2012, Pradaxa led all other medications in 2011 with reports of 3,781 side effects and 542 deaths to the FDA. Anyone affected by internal bleeding after taking Pradaxa is urged to speak with a lawyer about their legal options as soon as possible. On October 3, 2012, the Institute for Safe Medicine Practices QuarterWatch (PDF) estimated that prescription drug complaints to the FDA have risen 90% in the past 4 years, and two drugs, Pradaxa and Chantix, are responsible for 37% of that increase. While all anticoagulants can cause internal bleeding, the Journal of Neurosurgery reported doctors concerns on March 6, 2012 that, once Pradaxa causes internal bleeding, there is currently no antidote to stop it. Due to the number of Pradaxa lawsuits filed, a central federal court has been … Continue reading
