There were approximately 10 people on board at the time. At that time the bus left for the Globe Arena, which is where Justin was due to perform," Bystrom said. "The officer contacted our narcotics unit to gain a warrant to check the bus at the Globe's garage. Police and sniffer dogs obtained a warrant to search the bus. Drug officers searched the bus during the concert while Bieber was on stage, Bystrom said. Drugs and a stun gun have been found on board Justin Bieber's tour bus, according to Swedish police. Police spokesman Varg Jyllander told Sky News an officer on crowd duty smelled marijuana from the vehicle. It had been parked outside the Stockholm hotel where the pop star was staying just before his concert in the capital on Wednesday night. Mr Jyllander said drugs police were alerted and followed the bus to the venue before searching the empty vehicle after around 10 passengers - including Bieber - had entered the arena. He explained: "They found a small amount of drugs and a stun gun. "Now the drugs are (being) sent over to the forensics lab, and before we have the analysis results we won't (comment further). STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Swedish police said on Thursday they found drugs on teen idol Justin Bieber's tour bus in Stockholm, but had no suspects and were unlikely to pursue the case further. A police officer on crowd duty smelled marijuana on an empty tour bus outside the hotel where Bieber was staying just before his concert in the capital on Wednesday night, police spokesman Kjell Lindgren said. Police searched the empty bus after it had taken 10 to 15 individuals to the concert venue. "The police went onto the bus and searched it and found a small amount of narcotics," Lindgren said. "We don't know who had the drugs or who smoked them, so it will be hard to link them with any individual." The drugs have been sent for analysis and Lindgren said the police did not plan further action unless they got more information. Bieber is travelling Europe on his "Believe" tour and is due in Finland for a concert on Friday. It says blanket prohibition of Class A drugs allows criminals to control the quality and supply of them to addicts, who turn to crime to fund their habits. The PGA has signed up to the international Count the Costs campaign against an enforcement-led approach. The Home Office said drugs were illegal "because they are dangerous". PGA president Eoin McLennan-Murray said it believed "a substantial segment of the prison population have been convicted of low-level acquisitive crimes simply to fund addiction". "The current war on drugs is successful in creating further victims of acquisitive crime, increasing cost to the taxpayer to accommodate a higher prison population and allowing criminals to control and profit from the sale and distribution of Class A drugs," he said. "A fundamental review of the prohibition-based policy is desperately required and this is why the Prison Governors Association are keen to support the Count the Costs initiative."
