Author of the article: Publishing date: A new study published in the European Journal of Internal Medicine has found that cannabis consumption among older adults with hypertension is associated with a drop in blood pressure. The study was focused on patients aged 60 or older with hypertension and a medical cannabis prescription. Researchers monitored blood pressure, blood tests, electrocardiograms (ECG) and anthropometric measurements prior to the initiation of cannabis therapy and followed up three months afterward.
