Every dietary supplement user needs to develop a regimen that revolves around a COMPREHENSIVE MULTIVITAMIN. This is because multivitamins: THE MOLECULAR MULTI formulated by Bill Sardi is designed as a 4-capsules-a-day multivitamin. Cost-conscious consumers can take 2-capsules/day and still get more nutrients than most other multivitamins. THE MOLECULAR MULTI, 120 capsule bottle, a full 30-day supply, suggested retail price is $57.50. Buy 3 bottles and get 1 bottle free (total price $166.50 or $41.63 per bottle / $1.44 per day). Vitamin A Required for rhodopsin, the light-sensitive visual chemical at the back of the eyes. Deficiency may induce night blindness (often in cases of alcoholism and zinc deficiency). A shortage of vitamin A decreases immunity. This author notes he experienced the first two eye infections in his lifetime while taking high-dose vitamin D which competes w/vitamin A for storage in the liver; also experienced night vision problems. Co-supplementation with A & D resolved the problem. Vitamin A is necessary for the mucin layer of tear film on the surface of the eyes. While the research world searches for stem cell enhancers, vitamin A is necessary for stem cell production and goes overlooked. Beta carotene converts to vitamin A when consumed … Continue reading

Overview Research training is a major focus of the fellowship trainingprogram and fellows are provided substantial protected time throughout theirfellowship to engage in rich research experiences. The research program isdesigned to provide comprehensive scholarly training that prepares all traineeswith the background and skills to successfully compete for academic facultypositions and extramural funding at the completion of their fellowship.Although many cardiology fellows are mentored by a faculty member within theDivision of Pediatric Cardiology, the program encourages fellows to consider abroad range of potential mentors. The program will assist in identifyingpotential mentors, both within the Department of Pediatrics and, whenappropriate, from across the School of Medicine campus. Research facilities are available throughout Childrens HospitalColorado and the University of Colorado School of Medicine. In the section ofCardiology, research facilities include a state-of-the-art echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology laboratories, as well as astate-of-the-art flow lab. At the University of Colorado, multiple basicscience laboratories are available including molecular biology laboratories, immunology laboratories, and perinatal research facilities among others. Research opportunities available to cardiology trainees are broadand varied. The Exercise Physiology Laboratory, Echocardiographic Laboratory,Catheterization Laboratory, and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit within the Children'sHospital Colorado are all very well suited for clinical research. Molecular Cardiology is the study of genetic heart disorders. Our major goal is to reduce human disease through the integration of basic science research and clinical cardiology. Our research is focused on understanding the clinical and genetic basis of inherited heart disease. We use a range of approaches including human gene discovery studies, basic cellular systems, animal models of human disease, and population-based psychosocial and public health studies. Our research involves state-of-the-art approaches including whole exome sequencing, mRNA and microRNA profiling, and RNASeq. Most importantly, we have the key clinical resources, including well phenotyped individual patients and families, which form the basis of all our genetic studies. To get to this point, we have developed cohorts and national registries of patients and families with inherited heart diseases. We also utilise the latest in genetic technology in order to form the basis of our novel gene discovery studies. Around 30,000 Australians die every year from sudden cardiac death. Around four young Australians, under the age of 35, die every week from sudden cardiac death. We know that there are around 40 cardiovascular conditions caused by underlying genetic faults. We all have around 22,000 genes, but a fault in just one can … Continue reading
