Evil MS Pharmaceutical Trap. – Video

08-02-2012 20:04 "In view of the given facts we must ask ourselves whether the MS patient's shameless exploitation for senseless profitable drug experimentation, grounded in an illogical MS 'definition' and 'identification' does not form an ethical issue" Dr Franz Schelling "I don't understand how they can sustain such a lie. Angioplasty is not a treatment of MS. It is the treatment of a vascular abnormality and the citizen has the right to receive for free an approved procedure. That's all. In my hospital they do 1500 angioplasties a year, it is routine every day work. I think that to forbid it, to take it away, not to offer it to the patient is a capital sin." Dr Gianfranco Campalani, Heart Surgeon in the UK National Health Service (he has MS and has been treated for CCSVI) The venodynamic origin of MS is visible on MRI. Our immune systems are only trying to do what they should be doing. Read more: Evil MS Pharmaceutical Trap. - Video … Continue reading

Pete Robinson : What about Jeff?

Posted: Published on February 20th, 2012

Ms. Danielle Buzbee, as a Cal Fire spouse, just what is your true motive against Councilman Jeff Rivero? No one on Atwater's City Council thinks more "out of the box" than does Jeff. Take for example the new Waste Water Treatment Plant's proposed solar power facility. With no startup costs for Atwater, the solar power facility has the potential of saving $1.4M in electricity costs over a 20-year span. Besides this tangible financial benefit, it positions Atwater ahead of other Valley cities in going "green" as California aggressively moves more and more to mandate renewable power sources. By utilizing solar energy, this in and of itself will make Atwater an attractive city in which to lure businesses. Jeff conceptualized the idea, researched most of the data, and pushed hard for its implementation within the City Council. With local "heavy hitters" Jim Price and Andy Krotik advising Ms. Buzbee against initiating a recall, I would hope all would consider the fact that Mr. Rivero's Cal Fire position has only been to see the facts and figures of both sides before making an informed decision. Surely this does not go against the grain of any Tea Party, Democrat or Republican ideology. Ms. … Continue reading

New Police Minister needs new attitude to drugs

Posted: Published on February 20th, 2012

Christine Davey, Sensible Sentencing's Spokesperson on Drug issues, notes that our new Police Minister, Anne Tolley, has congratulated the Police after significant, recent drugs busts, and is already trotting out the same rhetoric as her predecessor - "The Government will not tolerate methamphetamine in our communities." Ms Tolley needs it pointed out to her that concentrating on ridding our communities of P Manufacturers and Dealers is not enough; that as long as this Government allows P users to continue their illicit habit until they decide they want help to stop (which is why the Manufacturers and Dealers will continue to exist) - is, in fact, tolerating methamphetamine in our communities. Ms Davey urges Ms Tolley to stop trying to empty the ocean with a very expensive sieve, and to start encouraging the Government to deal with the Demand for P by allowing families access to the support they need to get their family members in Treatment, and to start breaking this cycle. The National Committee for Addiction Treatment says "research indicates that coerced treatment is as effective as 'voluntary' treatment" - so what are we waiting for? Only then will progress be made in this never-ending war on P. Excerpt … Continue reading

14-02-2012 22:02 After working on this all summer and all semester I can finally play it all the way through well mostly anyway. I messed up towards the end a few times =(. This song has meant so much to me, more than a lot of people could understand. I am so thankful that God is allowing me to walk, talk, see, and everything else that comes along with Multiple Sclerosis. When I was super sick this song made me cry my eyes out. I always thought "Why is this happening to me?" "Hasn't enough stuff in my family gone wrong?" God has a plan and a purpose for everything. I haven't lost anything and He has given me a beautiful testimony calling me to lead worship and go to the school of my dreams to study music ministry. Since I have started Tysabri (MS treatment) I have only had 1 relapse at the very beginning. Since then I haven't had one in almost a year! Even though MS has no cure, in my opinion God has healed me =) Read more: Blessings by Laura Story (cover by Breanne Kalmink) - Video … Continue reading

Whitney Houston, My Mother and Addiction

Posted: Published on February 15th, 2012

With her death at the age of 48, Whitney Houston becomes another tragic statistic – another gifted woman and mother lost too young in the wreckage of addiction. There is nothing shocking about Ms. Houston’s death. Heartbreaking? Of course. But shocking? Not to me. The singer’s battle with alcohol and drugs played out on the public stage. She sought treatment for her addiction as recently as last spring. And while we don’t yet know the exact cause of her death, she was found in a hotel bathtub with prescription drugs nearby. So if Ms. Houston’s death is found to have been caused, or hastened, by her public struggle with addiction, will hers be the celebrity tragedy that finally awakens us to the realities of drug and alcohol abuse? I doubt it. Why? Because society turns a blind eye to the very ugly truth: there are more than 79,000 deaths attributable to excessive alcohol consumption alone in the United States every year — about the number of fans who packed Tampa Stadium for Ms. Houston’s heralded rendition of the national anthem at Super Bowl XXV. Fifteen years ago, my mother was one of them. At the age of 53, after battling … Continue reading
