PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- In the wake of news regarding counterfeit Avastin hitting the US market, a new analysis released by LegitScript.com estimates that out of roughly 450 companies with ICANN accreditations to sell domain names, over 71% of all rogue online pharmacies are clustered with just ten Registrars, with over 50% of all rogue online pharmacies at just two Registrars. The report estimates that a single Registrar, Internet.bs, sponsors 1 in 3 (33%) of the worlds active rogue online pharmacies, even though it is the Registrar for only about 0.2% of the worlds domain names overall. According to the companys report, 44% of not recommended online pharmacies listed on the National Association of Boards of Pharmacys website are registered with the company as well. The report identifies rogue online pharmacies as websites facilitating the sale of prescription drugs without requiring a prescription and/or selling unapproved (e.g., counterfeit or falsified) medicines, and notes several recent instances of death, overdose or injury from such websites. The Lady Braves saw their 20-game winning streak come to an end in a 44-40 loss to Rawlins while the Braves pulled away to defeat Wheatland 46-36 and go back to the title game for the first time since 2007. The Lady Outlaws outscored Star Valley 17-6 in the fourth quarter to steal the win and send the Lady Braves into the battle for third place which will take place on Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. The ladies will tip off against the Torrington Lady Trailblazers. The Braves will also play Torrington but it will be in the title tilt on Saturday afternoon. The Blazers blew past the Lyman Eagles to reach the final game. Lady Braves - Madison Forney of Rawlins scored 15 of her 17 points in the second half and Kalli Feddersen matched it with 17 of her own, including a three-point dagger with less than 30 seconds remaining. CEBU, Philippines - The ThreeSixty Pharmacy-Online Basketball Training Camp has expanded its extensive program to four cities this summer. This is due to high demand of sports-minded individuals who want to keep the youth, especially the aspiring cagers, busy during school break and make their vacation worthwhile. Aside from Cebu City, Danao and Minglanilla, the Training Specialists under the supervision of former PBA player Mark Tallo also branch out in Tagbilaran City. The Douglas Lady Bearcats controlled much of the tempo against Star Valley, leading by as many as five points on four different occasions. However, the Lady Braves, who were out-rebounded and gave up many uncharacteristic second-chance baskets, clawed their way back to a lead in the fourth quarter after trailing by five to end the third. Down the stretch, the Lady Braves forced 26 turnovers but only turned it over twice in the final stanza to forge a modest four-point lead. Douglas answered with a huge three-point basket from Jill Espeland but a clinching steal from Hailey Greenwood and clutch free-throws from Lexi Erickson sealed a 46-43 victory. Erickson finished with a game high 18 points and five assists while Christy Clinger finished with nine. According to Mayor Kennis Lutz, the budgeting process will begin in March. We will put together our first budget and have the first reading in April, he said. Then if we need to we can break it down further and hold some workshops. We do have some money saved up and weve got some debt paid off. Its nice to have a little money left over at the end of the day. According to Lutz, as the town council works on the budget for the coming year, the question that will be asked first is what does the town need? Once we know what our needs our and have budgeted to cover those needs then we can work on everything else, he said. According to Lutz, the town will continue to look for ways to cut costs and effectively manage town funds while at the same time providing a good level of service to its residents. Scammers are exploiting search giant Google's popularity to sell drugs online, a computer security firm warned this week. GFI Labs said the cyberscammers are sending out unsolicited emails pitching drugs via a so-called "Google Pharmacy." "Of course, this time around, online criminals only used Googles name in an attempt to pique users interest and have them start clicking away," it said in a blog post. It cited one sample spam with a Google Pharmacy logo, claiming to have "launched a pharmaceutical interface for Google, as well as several new features that will improve the Google experience for the people buying pills and using pharmaceutical interfaces." GFI said the sample spam - with the sender using an @irs.com domain - claimed Google Pharmacy "will help people use pharmacy and surgery." "The supposed sender is obviously fake, seeing that it used an @irs.com domain. Whats more, this particular email address has been involved in numerous email scams before," GFI noted. On the other hand, it said the link provided in the spam message cannot be clicked since the entire message body is an image. Mitesh Soma, the man who launched online pharmacy business Chemist Direct from his garden shed, has hired the outgoing managing director of Play.com to increase the size of the business internationally. Mr Soma, who in 2007 launched what has grown to become Europes largest online chemist, has recruited Stuart Rowe as chief executive. Mr Rowe has spent six years at music and entertainment retailer Play.com, prior to which he was e-commerce director of HMV, the ailing high street retailer. Mr Soma, a former management consultant who started the business with his wife Krishna, who is the companys chief pharmacist, hopes Mr Rowe will boost sales, having reached an annual turnover of 15m a year and running at an operating profit on a month-by-month basis.
