StemCells Gains 5% on Neural Stem Cell Trial in Spinal Cord Injury

Shares of StemCells (STEM) are up 5.85% after the company announced that it will initiate the Phase I/II clinical trial of its proprietary HuCNS-SC human neural stem cells in chronic spinal cord injury. The trial is now open for enrollment, and will accept patients with both complete and incomplete degrees of paralysis who are three to twelve months post-injury.
