The study of chemistry is one of the best ways that you can come to understand your universe. It affords an insight into the working of the physical world that is hidden to the non-scientist and provides a foundation for work in many different areas.

The chemistry major as offered at Cleveland State University provides a solid educational foundation for careers in chemistry and related fields.

In Fall 2011, the Chemistry Department began offering General Chemistry I, CHM 261 section 502 as a Wimba classroom. This program delivers online learning with a punch by allowing real time, synchronous interaction with the instructor.Students will be required to partcipate online during class time M, W, and F 10:30 am - 11:35 am.
