Often these young people come from lives of abuse, drug dependency, and sometimes mental imbalances like schizophrenia. A medical team in Arizona has spent the last 10 years reaching out to homeless teens. The United Methodist Outreach Ministries of Phoenix supports a full-service clinic in an RV. Doctors treat everything from colds and flu, to referrals for depression and attempted suicide. They also offer gentle life coaching that has helped a lot of young patients go on to college, nursing school, and better futures.
