College: My plans and how my illness has held me back
I #39;ve been struggling to get my degree... I started community college in 2005 and transferred without an AA to UC Davis in Fall of 2008. I haven #39;t been in school since then, although I attempted to take a class to get an AA last spring semester... and it didn #39;t work out. I #39;m taking that same class again this spring, critical thinking in psychology, and I #39;ve taken other critical thinking classes so I will do well in it as long as I can get my butt to class. Soon I #39;ll transfer to the local state school and get my BA in Psych. Then a Master #39;s program, likely an MFT program, to get my degree to be licensed as a therapist 🙂 I want to counsel pregnant teens, at risk teens, and also be a sex therapist (gender confusion, transgender, gay and lesbian, couples, fetishes, sex addiction, erectile dysfunction, emotional trauma, molestation, rape, and incest... and many more). I #39;ve also considered counseling the chronically and terminally ill. We #39;ll see what the future holds :)From:JessJ42oViews:1 0ratingsTime:04:19More inPeople Blogs
