Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy Promotes Dr. Atheer Kaddis to Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing

FLINT, Mich., July 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy, the nation's largest, privately owned specialty pharmacy, announced today that Dr. Atheer A. Kaddis has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He reports directly to Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy's President, Gary Kadlec.

"Atheer is a seasoned professional who has a deep understanding of specialty pharmacy," said Kadlec. "In this new position, Atheer will bring our Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Trade Relations under one authority to allow an agile and seamless response to all of the needs of Diplomat's clients and stakeholders."

Prior to his promotion, Dr. Kaddis served as Diplomat's Sr. Vice President of Managed Markets and Clinical Services. Before coming to Diplomat, Dr. Kaddis was Director of Pharmacy Services Clinical for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan with responsibilities including formulary development, clinical program development, utilization management programs, specialty pharmacy programs, and pay for performance programs.

Dr. Kaddis is a graduate of the Doctor of Pharmacy program at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
