IMHOTEP MUSEUM *SAQQARA* (First Part): The Imhotep Museum in Saqqara was built in memory of Imhotep, one of the most brilliant architects of Ancient Egypt.. Imhotep has constructed the step pyramid of Djoser, the oldest surviving stone building in the world. This was the first time in ancient Egypt to construct a pyramid, mortuary temples, and all other components of a royal necropolis using stones. Imhotep was a genius in the architecture, sculpturing, and several fields of medicine. Imhotep was the first real doctor known in human history as he invented many medications and drugs that were used to cure a large number of diseases. Moreover, Imhotep was the first real architect in the history of the world and the first to use stone columns in constructing many structures in ancient Egypt. He was deified years later. in this video you can see many objects found in Saqqara area, in first place the famous blue/green tiles of the Zoser #39;s underground labyrinth under his step pyramid.a fragment with some of cobras (uraeus) frieze of zoser complex,also some beautiful statues ,sarcophagi,tools etc, and finally a fantastic statues of imhotep
