The employees of GCS Credit Union recently presented the Illinois Center for Autism with a donation check for $1,030, according to a press release.

Throughout the year, employees of GCS are given the opportunity to wear jeans on Fridays and Saturdays for $20 and the funds collected go to a specified charity. The Illinois Center for Autism is a not-for-profit, community-based, mental health treatment, and educational agency dedicated to serving people with autism. They believe that each individual is unique and defined by possibilities and not limitations. The Illinois Center for Autism strives to educate and serve children and adults with autism and help them achieve independence in home, school, and community life.

GCS supports numerous charitable organizations each year, which include the March of Dimes, the American Diabetes Association, and the National Childrens Cancer Society.
