GMC Hospital opens state-of-the-art plastic and reconstructive department

Ajman, Jan 21: One of the leading healthcare providers in the region, GMC (Thumbay Group) Hospital has added another feather to its cap by inaugurating a state-of-the-art plastic and reconstructive department in Ajman.

"In this region, plastic surgery has been mistaken as aesthetic surgery alone. The department at debunks this myth and expounds on the true repertoire of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery," says Dr Punam Bijlani, Consultant and Head of the Department, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

Khadija Ibrahim, Director Medical License Department at Ministry of Health, Ajman Medical District inaugurated the department in the presence of Professor Gita Ashok Raj, Provost Gulf Medical University, Akbar Moideen Thumbay Director Healthcare and Retail, Thumbay Group UAE, and the hospital management.
