Greys Anatomy season 11: First promo released teases strain in McDreamy marriage

The first promotional video for Greys Anatomy season 11 has been released and hints at trouble for Meredith and Dereks marriage.

At the end of Greys Anatomy season 10 fans saw Meredith tell Derek she didnt want to go to D.C. with him. Instead, she wanted to stay in Seattle and continue her work there.

Well, it doesnt look like the problem is going to go away anytime soon. And the battle between husband and wife will wear down on their marriage.

The promo starts off replaying a bit of the original argument. Meredith firmly tells Derek, I am staying here. Then a flash of April telling Jackson, Hes dying inside before showing a shot of a solemn looking Derek. And finally Meredith hugging Alex and telling him she doesnt know if her marriage can survive.

It looks like Meredith will be spreading distance between her and Derek. Meanwhile, as the last of the original interns she and Alex will get even closer. Hell be there consoling her as she works through the issues in her marriage. Which may be causing some trouble in his own relationship with Jo.

Greys Anatomy season 11 premieres Thursday September 25 at 8 p.m. on ABC. The title of the first episode is, I Must Have Lost It on the Wind.
