ABC has released the Greys Anatomy season 11 premiere synopsis and it gives fans a hint of the changes to come now that Cristina has left Seattle.

The Greys Anatomy season 11 premiere, I Must Have Lost It On The Wind, synopsis is:

With Cristina gone, a new doctor, Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary), making the rounds and Derek wanting to move to Washington DC, Meredith struggles to regain a sense of normalcy both at home and in the hospital. Meanwhile, Callie and Arizona come to a decision about surrogacy, Amelia overhears a big secret, Bailey realizes she will have to fight Alex for Cristinas board seat and a freak accident causes two teenagers to be caught in a very compromising position

Its no surprise that Maggie will be featured in the premiere episode. In the Greys Anatomy season 10 finale she dropped a bomb (without knowing it) on Weber by revealing that Ellis Grey was her birth mother. So the question is, how long will it be till the secret it out and Meredith learns she has another half-sister?

Its also interesting to learn that Alex and Bailey will have to fight for the spot on the board. It seemed as though Alex had it outright since Cristina left her share of the hospital to him. Maybe both of them will end up on the board?

Who knows what secret Amelia could overhear. It could be related to Derek and Merediths marriage which would make things awkward at the Shepherd household. Or she could overhear Maggies secret about her parentage. Well just have to wait and see!
