Greys Anatomy Season 11 Spoilers: Episode 11 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In All I Could Do Was Cry?

Next weeks installment of Greys Anatomy will remind fans exactly why they tune in to the Shonda Rhimes-created series season after season. Or at least thats what the Season 11 promo video says. Episode 11, All I Could Do Was Cry, is named afterthe hit single by Etta James. The episodewill be bringing all the feels. So, you may want to stock up on tissues.

After several discussions with Dr. Herman (Geena Davis), April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) must face their situation head on and make a difficult decision regarding their unborn child, the synopsis for episode 11 teases.

During episode 10, the couple continued to butt heads on how to handle the situation with their little Buddha baby, who was diagnosed with osteogenesis imperfecta, aka brittle bone disease. While Jackson wanted to terminate the child should it be determined it had Type 2 (the fatal form of the disease), April had a different idea on how to handle her babys fate. She revealed that, regardless of the test results, she wanted to have the child.

Maybe god wont take him. Maybe itll be a miracle, April says in the trailer. But it doesnt look like the Averys will be receiving good news next week.

Although a chunk of episode 11 will focus on Aprils and Jacksons heartbreaking story line, it wont be the only drama set to occur in the installment. According to the summary, Jacksons mother, Catherine (Debbie Allen), will return to Seattle and bump into her ex-boyfriend Richard (James Pickens Jr.) when she pays Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital a visit.

Meanwhile, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) will try to find someone to take care of the kids so she can visit Derek (Patrick Dempsey) for the weekend, the synopsis continues. Who thinks Maggie (Kelly McCreary)should get the gig? Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) will also be playing an authoritative role when she shows Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) some tough love when they work together on a case.

Greys Anatomy Season 11, episode 11, will be shown on ABC Thursday, Feb. 12, at 8 p.m. EST.
