WE cannot say thank you enough.

Thats the message from a Winchester family after they came a step closer to realising their fundraising goal thanks to a generous donation.

Jo and Andrew Syvret have been campaigning to raise 90,000 for their six-year-old daughter, Jemima, who was born with cerebral palsy, so she can get treatment to help her walk on her own.

Now, after months of triathlons, rowing, and bracelet-making, the family has received a car to help them along with their worthy cause.

The Hendy Group has donated a red Ford Fiesta 1.25 Zetec to be auctioned which they hope will raise over 13,000 for Jemimas cause.

Paul Hendy, managing director, said: I heard about Jemima through my good friend David Cheyne who is on the organising committee for the ball. Were hoping to raise 13,495 with the auction.

It should be a fun evening all in aid of a fantastic cause that has touched our hearts. We hope for the very best outcome for Jemima so that her quality of life can be the best it can possibly be.

Jemimas parents are asking as many people as possible to get involved with the auction, the winner of which will be announced at a ball next month.
