Eighty percent of strokes are preventable with the appropriate health screenings and changes to diet and lifestyle.
It is importance to know the signs of stroke and to seek treatment right away.
Use FAST to remember the warning signs of stroke:

Arms: Ask the person to raise both arms. Does one arm drift downward?
Speech: Ask the person to repeat a simple phrase. Is their speech slurred or strange?
