Columbias interventional cardiology team cares for patients with many different cardiac problems, including those with the most advanced cardiovascular disease such as chronic total occlusions (CTOs), peripheral arterial disease (PAD), valve disease and other structural issues, and adult congenital disease.

At Columbia, patients who might otherwise have no treatment options have access to novel experimental therapies and landmark studies. Through our Clinical Trials Center, we now have more than 2,500 patients involved in more than 40 trials and studies, of which 20 are actively enrolling patients.

We are also closely affiliated with the not-for-profit Cardiovascular Research Foundation, which sponsors more than 50 educational meetings, conferences, and teaching symposia every year.
