Iveda Solutions, Mexico-Based Pharmacy Retailer Declare Successful Pilot Project

MESA, AZ--(Marketwire - Mar 12, 2013) - Iveda Solutions, Inc. ( OTCBB : IVDA ), the pioneer in cloud-based video services, and Farmacias de Similares, the retail pharmacy industry leader based in Mexico City, have completed their pilot project and today declared it an unqualified success. The project involved ten Farmacias Similares retail stores in Mexico. Each store was equipped with a PTZ (pan tilt zoom) camera hosted in the Iveda Solutions' cloud, and utilized IvedaXpress and IvedaPinpoint services.

Farmacias Similares owns and operates more than 4000 establishments and discount drugstore outlets offering generic drugs in Mexico, Guatemala, and Chile. Additionally, it offers doctor consultation and laboratory services.

Before rolling out IvedaXpress and IvedaPinpoint to their corporate and franchise stores, Farmacias Similares wanted to see fast provisioning, simple web-based interface, and true centralized management of all cameras. The pilot accomplished all these objectives and more.

The IvedaXpress online portal offers secure, remote access to live and recorded video to both management at individual stores and to corporate headquarters.

IvedaPinpoint is Iveda Solutions' online mapping service that shows the location of surveillance video cameras on Google Maps or other third party mapping platforms.It is a video management system consolidation service, allowing live video access to all camera assets with a single username and password.
