Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Little Waltham and Great Notley Surgeries Patient Participation Group (The Group) will take place on Wednesday 26th October 2016 at 7pm at Notley Green Surgery. This years AGM will be incorporated into an Open Meeting for all patients of the Practice.

All matters for inclusion in the Agenda for the Open Meeting/AGM must be received by the Secretary to the Group in writing no later than 12th October 2016 either to the email address above or to either Little Waltham or Notley Green Surgeries.

The surgery will no longer be offering ear syringing service, this is due to on-going issues with the machines and funding cuts. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Every patient has a named allocated GP however patients may see whichever GP they prefer. If you wish to know who your named GP is, please ask at reception.

A simple scan can tell if you have an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm. This is an enlargement of the main blood vessel in the abdomen and left untreated it can be fatal. NHS screening invitiations will be sent to men aged 65 this year and those over 65 can request a scan by calling 01702 385559. Further information is available here

Patients who were born 02/09/1945 - 01/09/1946 and 02/09/1937 - 01/09/1938 are entitled to a shingles vaccination anytime between now and the end of August 2017.
