Both the Braves and Lady Braves collected two more conference
wins over the weekend, knocking off Mountain View on the road
and then pulling away from Lyman on the home floor.  The
Lady Braves defeated the Lady Buffalos 48-24 despite some
cold shooting from the outside.  The Braves duplicated
the effort in Uinta County, beating the Buffs 50-33.  On
Saturday, the Star Valley teams returned home to host the
Eagles where the Lady Braves won their ninth straight game,
52-27.  The Braves then closed out a spirited Lyman
squad 66-40 with a big third quarter.

@ Mountain View

The Lady Braves only had one player reach double figures but
they dominated the rebounding 32-19.  Lexi Erickson
scored ten points with Christy Clinger chipping in
eight.  Hailey Greenwood and Ashley Hall each scored
seven.  Bailey Brog had a game-high seven
rebounds.  Mckinna Salsbury led Mountain View with six
points who played without senior standout Stephanie Smith.

The Braves cruised to their win on the road with nine
different players in the scoring column.  Ridge Hillyard
led the way with ten points while Kohl Battleson had
nine.  Dalton Passey, Pahl Schwab and Wyatt Shinaver
each had eight.  Austin Houskeeper led the Buffalos with
12 points.

Vs Lyman

Using a very aggressive defense to create transition baskets,
the Lady Braves jumped out to a 12-0 lead before Lyman even
got on the scoreboard.  Greenwood had a terrific
defensive game, collecting eight steals to set up her 16
points.  Erickson had nine with Brog and Cortland
Jenkins each scoring six.  Tiffani Dennis led the Eagles
with eight points.

The boys game was very physical and hard fought throughout
and was a close contest for the first half.  However,
the Braves used a 21-8 run in the third quarter to pull away
as the Eagles lost their composure.  The Braves had four
different players in double-figures, led by Shinaver’s
14.  Passey scored 12, Hillyard netted 11 and Battleson
finished with ten.  Nathan Jaggi finished with 13 for
the visiting Eagles while Cisco Taylor scored ten.
