We have many excellent events coming up in the days and weeks to come at Morbid Anatomy!

This week alone, our lineup includes "Ladies and Demons in 15th Century Rome" (Tuesday, March 24, more here); "Music from The Ultraterrestrials," the first of a three part series dedicated to anomalous music with Doug Skinner, presented by Shannon Taggart (Wednesday, March 25, more here); "Saws, Specula and Surgical Instruments: The Absurd and Disturbing World of Biomedical Patents" with patent attorney Eric "Indin" Bleich (Thursday, March 26, more here); "Shrunken Heads, Enchanted Amulets, and Pickled Penises: Victorian Anthropology and the Collections of Augustus Pitt Rivers" with Dr. Maeve Adams, Manhattan College (Friday, March 27th, more here); and Fancy Pigeon Taxidermy Class with Divya Anantharaman, Taxidermist in Residence (Saturday, March 28th, more here).

Additionally, this Sunday, March 29th will be your last chance to see our current Collector's Cabinet exhibition. Hope to see you at the exhibition closing party that evening, with a special collector's show and tell. The event will also serve as a launch party for our newMorbid Anatomy Presents film series by filmmaker in residence Ronni Thomas; drinks will be generously provided by our sponsor Art in the Age Spirits! Also, tickets are going fast for our first Annual Morbid Anatomy Museum Gala featuring honorary chair Chlo Sevigny, sponsored by Hendrick's Gin and Six Point Brewery! Newly added elements include catered meal and hors d'oeuvres by our special friends Runner and Stone; performance by magician and sideshow star Todd Robbinsof "Play Dead" fame; a phonograph DJ set during our VIP cocktail hour by Mac of WFMUs Ragged Antique Phonograph Program; an auction including a giant taxidermy tableau by "taxidermist to the stars" Emily Binard paired with a private class with taxidermist in residence Divya Anantharaman and a behind the scenes golf cart tour of the Bronx Zoo; and floral arrangements by Emily Thompson flowers.
