More legal woes for man in cerebral palsy patient attack – Allentown Morning Call

WEST CHESTER, Pa. (AP) Legal problems are mounting for a Pennsylvania man accused of sucker punching another man outside a convenience store after making fun of him because he showed symptoms of cerebral palsy.

Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan announced the bench warrant for 29-year-old Barry Baker for violating parole and failing to appear for a separate domestic relations matter Thursday.

The new charges are unrelated to the attack.

Baker, who also owns a home in Delaware, was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for a May 10 attack captured on the store's security cameras. He's out on bail in that charge.

The footage shot at 2:30 a.m. shows a man police say is Baker mocking the victim before punching him in the face without warning.

His attorney, Francis Miller, wasn't available to comment Friday.
