Ben during one of his therapy sessions

A MIDDLEWICH mum is asking a clinical commissioning group to help pay for her sons therapy sessions.

Ben Baddeley, from Staffordshire, suffers from Cerebral Palsy, and his mum Amy has been refused funding from North Staffordshire CCG because he is a private patient.

Amy said: We were offered help by the CCG to begin with but since they examined him their correspondence with us has been very poor We have put in over 20,000 for Bens treatment over the years and raised it, all and all were asking for back is 150 a week to fund his therapy.

Unfortunately we cant keep going on like this because the longer we fundraise, the tougher it gets to come up with ideas.

Bens now gone without any sessions for a few weeks and its starting to have an adverse effect on him. I dont know what they expected to happen.
