Mandy Cooper needs to collect 16,000 to pay for specialist treatment in America for two-year-old Kiaryn

A doting Moseley mother is to stage a fun day to fund revolutionary stem cell treatment for her son, who suffers from cerebral palsy.

Mandy Cooper is trying to raise 16,000 to pay for two-year-old Kiaryn to be helped by specialists in America.

The 26-year-old, who has already raised 850 through an on-line auction, holds the fun day at Moseley Rugby Club on Saturday, July 27. The day will feature a bouncy castle, go-karts and bungee run.

Kiaryn, who attends Victoria Special School, Northfield, cannot walk, talk or even sit unaided. Mandy hopes the 10,000 treatment will repair damaged brain cells and improve her sons quality of life.

It is not available in the UK.

She said: I want to do anything I can to help Kiaryn.

Hopefully, we can raise enough money so that he can get the treatment he needs.
