Court records indicate two of the assaults Michael Dixon is charged with are against 13-year-old and 14-year-old girls. Records show the five assaults occurred on Milwaukees northside in 2002, 2008, 2011 and two in 2012.

Authorities collected evidence, including DNA, from the victims at the time of the assaults. Police said they knew that one persons DNA was the same in four of the assaults, but they didnt know whose it was.

In July, the DNA was put into the states DNA databank and authorities found a potential familial match.

Court records show Dixon, who threatened to kill one of the victims, was also a suspect in two sexual assault cases in 1995 and 1998.

Dixon went before a judge Friday. Dixon could face decades behind bars if found guilty of all five assaults.
